Jeannette Quon
Director of Architecture and Design
 Jeannette co-founded QMA Architects
and Planners in 1991. She directs the work of
QMA’s design
team and is actively involved in the design and
production of almost all QMA projects.
Jeannette has over 25 years
of architectural experience, and has worked in
New Jersey as a licensed architect
since 1987. She is passionate about creating the
best possible design solution for each QMA client.
Our clients’ homes are never the same and
Jeannette believes that’s what keeps her
job exciting. She enjoys the unique challenges
that each project presents.
Jeannette earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture
from the University of Southern California. Prior
to moving to New Jersey, Jeannette worked with
several well-known and respected architectural
firms in California, where she honed her many skills.
While the focus of her current work is primarily
residential and light commercial, during her extensive
professional career, Jeannette has designed residential,
commercial, office, healthcare and retail facilities.
Her specialty is designing spaces where the client
wants something unusual or the project has unique
requirements.
Coming from Los Angeles, Jeannette
very much appreciates the small-town sense of
community that exists in
the towns along the Jersey Shore. She is also personally
involved in the community. She has helped organize
summer activities for young children and was a
Girl Scout Leader for several years. Jeannette
also works to inspire young girls who have an interest
in architecture. She participates in a Girl Scout
Career Insight program called, “Walk A Day
In My Shoes,” where young girls are given
a chance to spend the day with Jeannette and learn
about her profession.
