The French Normandy-styled custom
home was designed to reflect the homeowners’ interest
in merging modern and traditional styles. The warm
palette of
yellow and gold compliments the custom made cherry
wood found throughout the house. Modern electronics
and appliances are deftly hidden in the cherry wood
cabinetry to create a clean look with no clutter.
In the article, the homeowners explain how they
tried to make their home a personification of themselves
and wanted the job done right the first time. After
carefully researching their options, they chose QMA
Design+Build for our ability to deliver quality,
convenience, and style.

2005 - QMA is pleased to announce that in November
we will be moving to
our new office location. As we continue to grow and
expand our services to our clients, we found our
current home for the past 8 years no longer meets
our needs. Our new location provides us with not
only additional office space, but also plenty of
natural light in our new design studio through 12’ high
windows in our 14’ tall space. Also, our new
beach block location is closer to the shore communities
where most of our clients are located.

Home Featured in From House to Home Magazine
Linwood, New Jersey, Fall 2005 – A vacation
home designed and built by QMA Design+Build, LLC

to feel inside and to capture a magnificent view
of the marina. The home also incorporates modern
features that will make it enjoyable and comfortable
for years to come.
The home was uniquely envisioned with
a reverse living floor plan. All the main public
spaces are found on the second floor, which opens
out onto a large deck overlooking a natural pool
with waterfall, a nature preserve and the Cape May
Harbor. Guest rooms are found on the first floor,
and the master suite encompasses the entire third
floor. Connecting all these rooms is a curved staircase
with a domed ceiling painted with a fresco. The home
also has handicapped accessibility features, including

Design+Build, LLC project located in Ocean City was
featured in the Spring/Summer 2005 issue of From

was renovated by QMA in the summer of 2004.
The home was transformed into
an elegant summer residence with, what President
Todd Miller calls,
a “Southern colonial look.” QMA handled
the entire project, from design to construction.
The entire interior and exterior were re-created
to reflect today’s special and aesthetic needs
for a vacation home. The result was a modern home
that reflected the lifestyle of the homeowners.

LifeStyle Magazine Features QMA Project
Linwood, New Jersey, April/May
2004 – QMA
Design+Build, LLC was featured in LifeStyle Magazine
for our design and construction of a water-oriented
home in Ocean City. While large, the home was designed
to be low maintenance, with a cozy feel. It was designed,
not only as the owners’ retirement home, but
also as a gathering place for their family.
The homeowners specified two
criteria for their shore home. “The kitchen and dining room have
to be open. Not one big room, but open to the effect
that it can fit about twenty-five people for dinner.
The other, a sweeping stairway with lots of banisters
to hang Christmas stockings.” The home was
also designed with an elaborate bar for entertaining,
five bedrooms, and four and a half baths.
The outside of the house is painted in a traditional
Victorian yellow and blue palette, and is surrounded
by landscaped paths, secluded seating areas, a garden
and natural pool with a waterfall. Inside, the home
features a reverse living floor plan where the main
living areas, such as the dining and great rooms,
are placed on the second floor to maximize the view
of the marina.
The home also features a whole house sound system,
computerized weather station, low maintenance siding,
and other modern features that allow the vacation
home to be easy to operate and maintain.
QMA Profile in Builder/Architect Magazine

to exceed them. We do so by listening carefully to

Only Pleasant Surprises – Builder/Architect
Magazine
Linwood, New Jersey, January
2001 – QMA Design+Build,
LLC was recently recognized by Builder/Architect magazine
for our comprehensive designs and attentive client
relations. Homes designed by QMA are budgeted
for each client’s needs and built with only
pleasant surprises. As founder Todd Miller explained, “We
want to remove the uncertainty from the home remodeling
experience.” Clients working with Todd and
his team can feel reassured that the home they see
on paper will be the home they receive in real-life.
QMA begins the design process,
not with pen and paper, but with an open ear. The
first step in creating
a home is to spend time with the homeowners. By learning
our clients’ tastes, lifestyles, and needs,
our design team is capable of creating a home that
accurately reflects the family that will live in
it. Todd believes that “Our buildings are more
about our customers—instead of us.” That
is why each home designed by QMA is unique.
