When you're deciding on a contractor,
ask friends, neighbors, business associates, and
the
local NARI
(National
Association
of the Remodeling
Industry) chapter for the names of reputable and
quality-oriented contractors in your area that might
do the kind of work you are looking for. If possible,
get their Web addresses and visit their Web sites
to get a better feel for what type of company they
are.
Meet and interview several candidates.
